Assessment, Evaluations, & Testing:
- Fees for testing services vary based upon the purpose of the assessment, types of measures used, and amount of time required. Clinician's time includes meeting with clients for interviews and testing plus time spent interpreting results, contacting collateral sources as needed, and writing reports. The amount of time varies from approximately 3 - 8 hours depending on the extent of the assessment being conducted. Fees, which include cost of testing materials, generally average $175/hour.
- I offer specialized assessments for healthcare providers, including nurses as part of the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses (TPAPN) and the Texas Physician Health Program (TXPHP). Please contact me for more information or to schedule an appointment.
- I also offer evaluations required by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) for the Licensee Psychological and Emotional Health Declaration (L-3). Scheduling is managed by Occupro Testing, an approved TCOLE provider. Please contact me for more information and instructions on scheduling.
Payment
Payment can be made at the time of the appointment using a debit/credit card or Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Spending Accounts (FSA/HSA). I do not participate in any insurance panels and do not bill insurance for services. However, as an out-of-network provider, I can provide you with a statement of services that will allow you to submit a claim directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. I am happy to discuss this process with you.

Cancellation Policy
I expect that you will be on time for your appointment and that you will give me at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel the appointment. If, for any reason, you cannot let me know 24 hours in advance, or do not show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be charged the regular fee for the time reserved. If I need to cancel or change an appointment time, I will give you more than 24 hours notice, as I know you will have reserved that time for our mutual appointment. If for any reason I cannot give you more than 24 hours notice, I will waive the fee for our next session.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
