Over the years, my work as a psychologist has deepened my respect for the dignity, resilience, and potential of every person I meet. While my knowledge and experience have grown, my core belief has stayed the same: meaningful change is possible when people are supported, understood, and empowered.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we identify goals, explore concerns, and develop practical strategies for growth. Developmental and cultural factors are always part of this work, since our histories and lived experiences shape how we see the world and respond to life’s challenges. My role in therapy is to collaborate closely with you - providing support, offering perspective, asking helpful questions, and challenging you when it serves your growth.
My training includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, time-limited dynamic therapy, and interpersonal and behavioral medicine approaches. I use an integrative style, tailoring techniques to each person rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I really like being a psychologist; it’s a true honor to be invited into your life, and I look forward to getting to know you.
Outside of work, I love cooking - an ironic passion since I grew up in a household where the smoke detector doubled as the dinner bell. I stay active with fitness classes and running, and in my spare time, I'm often solving one of many word games. I also stay busy volunteering and serving in community organizations, and at home, our small but mighty dog keeps us laughing - even the time she executed a perfect counter-surfing heist to steal and consume an entire roast turkey. These moments remind me to approach life, and the work of therapy, with humor, curiosity, and an openness to new perspectives.
